You need Slipcases but which material?

A slipcase is a five sided box that houses a folder. The open side of the slipcase allows the spine of the binder or book to be visible for easy reference, whilst these storage boxes allow you to keep your ring binders or books neat and tidy on the shelf. Here at Quantum Binders we use a variety of different materials to produce slipcases in a range of sizes and bespoke designs.

These slipcases are made from a rigid greyboard stiffening, covered in flexible PVC sheets. The PVC is high frequency welded together to seal in the panels and leave a professional and durable finish.

A white lined greyboard is die cut and formed into the slipcase structure, before being covered in 150gsm silk paper that has been printed and laminated. The inside of the slipcase can also be pre-lined with a non-laminated printed sheet.

These slipcases are produced using a single thickness of polypropylene sheet, typically 800 micron thick, which is die cut to the required shape and size before being formed into the slipcase.

We offer a completely bespoke service and can create your slipcase out of any feasible material, including metal, acrylic, wood, leather, PU, or pure greyboard. Please contact us to discuss your ideas; we’d love to hear from you.
