You need Printed Inserts but which material?

Printed inserts can be slotted into the spine of your ring binders and lever arch files to allow you to change what is stored in them as and when you need to. For example you can have the front of the folder printed with your company details, and the inserts can be used to repurpose the files according to the needs of your business. At Quantum Binders we offer a bespoke service and are able to produce printed binder inserts in a variety of materials.

The most popular choice of material for printed inserts is paper or card as it is very easy to print onto and makes a cost-effective insert. We recommend you choose a silk finish paper between 200gsm and 350gsm for best results. Your inserts will then be screen, litho or digitally printed.

Paper or card are not suitable for all applications; if this is the case for you, then rigid PVC inserts may be suitable. We recommend using PVC which is 200 microns thick. The material will then be carefully printed with your design using litho, digital or screen printing processes.

If you’re looking for printed inserts that are a bit more durable then polypropylene is the ideal material. Opt for polypropylene which is 500 microns thick for best results. Your inserts will then be finished to a high standard using litho, screen or digital printing processes.

Paper, card, PVC, and polypropylene aren’t suitable for everyone which is why we offer a fully bespoke printed insert service. We can produce inserts from a variety of materials including metal, wood, acrylic, leather etc. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
