PVC Over Board Coasters consist of flexible PVC sheets and greyboard stiffening. The PVC sheets are high frequency welded together, thereby sealing in the greyboard panel, which gives the product its shape and rigidity.
Paper Over Board consists of 130gsm silk paper, usually printed, laminated and mounted onto 2-3mm thick greyboard. The laminate on the paper will protect the paper from a certain level of water ingress however the PVC coasters are more durable.
Acrylic or polypropylene Coasters consist of a single thickness of acrylic or polypropylene sheet, typically 3-4mm thick. The material is cut to shape and size. These can be particularly attractive given the transparent acrylics available.
